Hi guys, I hope you have all been well.



Things have been going well here, I've got my first animation finished and started rendering. I'm still planning to do a couple more animations for this ending.

I bought a new monitor a while back. 32" 1440p IPS and it's been great. A big upgrade from the 22" 1080p monitor I started with. The extra screen space plus the fact I can still use the old monitor in a dual set up makes work so much easier.

The only problem was that the colors on each display didn't match. It bugged me for a good while. Which monitor is correct? Are they both wrong?

I decided to buy a monitor calibration tool (datacolor spyderx pro if you're interested). It seems to have worked pretty well. Both monitors now look pretty much the same. Not quite perfect but good enough, the older monitor is TN based so has problems with viewing angles and such.

Turns out though that neither monitor was "correct", the 6500k white point is actually warmer than what either monitor was set to. I still believe there is room for improvement too by tweaking the monitors built in settings before the calibration tool does is thing also but that's something to try when I have the time.

So anyway, hopefully now what I see should be color accurate. Problem is, if no one else is using an accurate display to view my work, it's never going to look the same. I can't really help that though. It might have just been a waste but I think it's got the be better for my output to be correct from the start.

Anyway, 4k renders! I did some more simple poses in underwear in portrait again. This time it's Rosa in some leather underwear. Who knows where she goes and what she gets up to in her free time?

Hi guys, I hope you are all well.




Nothing special to report. Work is currently going fine.

I mentioned in the past I've used things like blender to fix clothing and to make it look more natural. Another option is Daz Studio's own built in cloth simulation dForce.

I've used it a bit in the past to make crumpled clothing on the floor and such. It's always been a pain to use however. It goes very slow, even when running on my 2080 Ti, changing the settings on an item to try and get it to look how you want seems completely trial and error as what works for one item doesn't work well for another.

Often the item will just explode into a huge mess and Daz will lock up. If it's not exploding it's a tiny part of the clothing intersecting the body and now it's stuck and will not hang correctly.

That being said I still try and use it now and then because when it does work it looks quite good. I used it with the red t-shirt Karen is wearing in the render at the top and it turned out quite well.

It still isn't without its difficulties. One problem is changing pose slightly between renders, for example just moving an arm. But when it's re-simulated the whole shirt shifts slightly. It then looks wrong when viewing the renders in sequence. There are lots of other little problems and annoyances but the more I use it the more I learn ways around them.

Hopefully you'll like the results, or maybe you won't even notice :)

Anyway, I thought you might like that little insight into my world.

As it's almost Halloween, that's the theme of this week's renders.





I quite like how these turned out, I may have to set one as a wallpaper. I hope you guys enjoy, I'll see you all next week.

Looking ahead

Hi guys, I hope you are all doing well and that you enjoyed the last update.



I think I need to adjust the values required to get each ending slightly, to make it more forgiving. It's hard to judge for myself when I already know which choices are required. It's not game breaking however and I attached a guide if anyone is having trouble so I'll wait until the next update to change it.

Talking of the next release I had to give it some thought. Based on how long the last update took, I don't want to make you guys wait that long or longer. I also have the problem that around the holiday season my real life gets much busier and I don't have the free time to dedicate to this project.

So I want to get the next update out before then which I believe will mean breaking up the last update into parts. As the endings are gonna be independent I can work on them individually so this shouldn't be a problem. I decided to start working on Karen's ending first.

Also I'll just mention that like last year I'll be sure to pause the patreon billing over the holidays when I can't work.

Okay, time for some more fun renders. I went with some simple poses in 4k portrait this time.





I hope you guys enjoy, and because I love you guys so much I went and made VR goggle versions also.

Шок! Не все читают/играют кроме как чтобы почитать/поиграть)

Не факт) Мне остался роут с Карен, но раньше финала его можно не смотреть. И просто кликать с начала очень долго, порядка 30-35 минут, пробел+мышка не синхронно.
Так что можно скопировать сохранение и удалить игру до лучших времён)

Получается, что решения принятые в 0.10 не имеют никакого смысла) И всю игру рушит единственный ответ отличный от решения разработчика.

То есть, шли на гарем, дали неуверенный, но не отрицательный, ответ девушке - плохая концовка.
Дали уверенный положительный ответ - вдруг остальные героини решаются приехать.
Неожиданное ХОБА, как говорится...

Концовок 5, но отличие от "продолжение в 0.12 на гарем" и "ой всё плохо в 0.11" - именно этот один ответ.

Руководство от разработчика ничем не отличается от моего первого, с момента выхода 0.1, прохождения, кроме этого ответа, и финал был плохой. Сцены с доктором были посмотрены уже потом, методом загрузки сохранений, без продолжения.
